«I BELONG TO NATURE – NOT AS SCENERY, BUT AS THE ARCHITECTURE OF MY FEELINGS. MY ART LIVES AT THE INTERSECTION OF INNER LANDSCAPES AND THE LAYERED EMOTIONAL WORLD OF BEING HUMAN.»
My method unfolds in three stages: sensory exploration, material embodiment of the state, and recovery after emotional work. Each drawing is not an image, but an experienced moment – something that moves through the body and returns as color.
For me, art is an organ I cannot live without. It is my way of being in the world, being seen, being honest – expressing my vulnerability and my strength at once.
Each of my works is an attempt to hear how a person «sounds within themselves», and to translate that astonishing inner language into a visual form.»
Ekaterina Schukina is an artist working with inner landscapes, the nature of feeling, and the emotionality of the body. Her practice explores the multilayered texture of human experience, feminine depth, and the subtle emotional transitions that often remain unseen.
«Color is my primary expressive instrument. It allows me to transmit nuances that cannot be spoken: fragility, strength, silence, tension, dissolution, the light of love, and a delicate melancholy.
In my work I bring together internal states and attentive observation of the outer world. Nature and the surrounding space do not give me stories, but they help me hear my own inner layers more clearly. The external becomes an echo of the internal.
